ABOUT THE CLUB
A little less choosing.
A lot more music.
The Catalogue Club is a home for curious listeners. One album, a proper listen, and an opinion that’s entirely yours.
Find my next albumGive the whole record a chance.
There’s something satisfying about an album that grows on you. The opener that pulls you in. The track you almost skipped. The closer that makes it all click.
The Club makes room for that kind of listening. Discover an album and open it in your music app. Choose Rating Mode to score every track, or Listening Mode to enjoy the record without a score. Your catalogue becomes a record of what you’ve heard and how it made you feel.
Created by Ryan, for people who love finding their next great record.
FROM FIRST SPIN TO FINAL VERDICT
How the Club works.
- 01 / DISCOVER
Leave the choosing to us.
Each spin draws an album at random from the eligible catalogue. New catalogue admissions need a matching tracklist and public Spotify and Apple Music GB catalogue checks. Those checks identify the release; playback still depends on your subscription and region. Compilations and remix collections are filtered out of the spin pool.
By default, the wheel chooses from established artists for 60% of draws and discoveries for 40%, keeping familiar names and unexpected finds in the mix. Use Customise My Listen to choose a decade, genre or artist group. Each choice is optional, and you can combine them. We only draw albums that match your choices; recently played albums are skipped.
- 02 / LISTEN
Make time for every track.
Open the album through its streaming links and listen in your own music app. Where available, short track previews help you get a feel for the record here.
- 03 / RATE
Make up your own mind.
In Rating Mode, rate every track from 1 to 10. Your final album score is the average expressed as a percentage: an average of 8 out of 10 gives an album 80%. Your verdict appears automatically once every track is rated. In Listening Mode, mark the playthrough complete to save it without stars or a Catalogue Score. Switching modes preserves the ratings you have already given.
